In September the girls spotted these animal blankets (top) in Costco. At the time we thought they were too expensive (especially when it meant buying 3), so I took a pic of each one and said "I can make those!" Really, was I nuts! Well a heck of a lot of money later (and that was with a Joann's 30% off special) and even more time spent cutting, fusing, sewing and de-linting (me, sofa & family room rug), I think I might have actually pulled it off (bottom pic). Grandma has sent some money, so she'll be funding these surprises under the Christmas tree.
